Another Fishing Report Update!

Lots of good fishing this week. The bay is loaded with bait and plenty of fish. The Bass, Blues and Blackfish are all biting hard. Clams, eels, bunker and jigs are catching Stripers while Green Crabs and Fiddlers are making the Blackfish chomp hard!

CHASING TAILS ANNUAL SNAPPER DERBY!

It's that time of the year!
Chasing Tails' Annual Snapper Derby is coming up soon, so come down to the store and register!

The Snapper Derby is August 13th and will be held at West Sayville Dock, at 9am.

We will have 6 trophies to win for 1st Caught, 3 Largest Caught , Smallest Caught , and Most Fish Caught.

There will be food, fun and prizes for the kids as well! We had over 300 kids last year and hope to see more this year!

Please start to arrive around 8am so we can begin registration confirmations. Lines will be going in at 9am SHARP! Parents are asked NOT to fish as this is a fun event for the children. The rain date is Sunday the 14th at the same time. Come down to the store and get your rods, reels, bobbers and bait and get some practice in! The Snappers are already here and biting! We will also have some bait for sale at the event.
