Porgy action up on the North Shore is excellent! Jennie Rostkowski just brought in this nice 2.04 pounder from Port Jeff. Caught on a Chasing Tails Porgy rig!
Stripers are here! Grab some clams and head to the beach! That's that Ken Bergami did and he landed this nice Bass!
Jesse Marro and Alex Carnaxide hit the 100 Square on Sunday and landed tons of Bigeye, Mahi Mahi and Longfin! These are their biggest! The Bigeye is 155 pounds, the Longfin is 38 and the Mahi Mahi is 9.8!
The bay is still loaded up with some really nice Fluke! Everyone is coming home with their limit and there are some really big fish in the mix. 9 year old Cailin Hall just brought in this impressive 7 pounder that she caught while fishing with her family on the "Hall Pass."
It's that time again! Chasing Tails' Annual Snapper Derby is here! Bring your chairs, coolers and fishing poles and join us for a fun filled family day in the Sun!
The date is set for August 17th at West Sayville Dock!
Lines go in from 9am 'til Noon. Show up early to get a good spot!
Each kid gets a t-shirt when they sign in!

Fluking action has been non stop lately. Some very large fish coming over the rails, right in the bay! From the Coast Guard Station to the Lighthouse, the last 3 hours of the incoming tide and the flood tide have been producing plenty of big Fluke from 20 to 26 inches! They're even on the beach! Zack Ostrander grabbed this nice 4 pounder this morning near Demo!
Our Fishing Reports page has been updated with the weekly report! Things are really heating up in the bay. Bass and Bluefish are plentiful and there are Weakfish everywhere! Some nice Fluke have been coming over the rails too. Catch 'em up! These fellas sure did!
An updated report as of 4/29 is on our Fishing Report page, check it out! Stripers, Weakfish, Flounder and Blues are all out and about in the salt water. The fresh water scene is alive and well with many Trout, Bass and Pickerel being caught.
The Trout and White Perch Tournament is off to an awesome start so far! The Largest Trout so far is held by Dan Krsnak at 1.40 pounds and the largest Perch so far is held by Larry Swanberg at 2.8 pounds! Larry, his brother Corey and their friends Zack, Ethan and Brandon went out together for a very successful Perch trip! Everyone scored some nice fish, but Larry's was the biggest!
There is still plenty of time to come in to register and go fishing! The winner in each category wins a custom Lamiglas rod! The contest is over April 31st!
